On August 13th, director Aoyama Shinji’s movie, ‘Tokyo Koen‘, received the Golden Leopard Special Jury Prize at the Locarno International Film Festival.

Recently, the upcoming movie “Uchuu Kyoudai” has been receiving a lot of attention. In the movie, Oguri Shun plays the older brother and Okada Masaki plays the ‘ikemen’ younger brother. In light of this, internet portal “goo” asked its users who they would want as their younger brother.

Director Miike Takashi’s live-action adaption of the popular anime “Nintama Rantaro” is going to open in cinemas on July 23rd. The story follows the adventures of Inadera Rantaro, a young boy who aims to become a great ninja, at the ninja school. Popular child actor Kato Seishiro is going to play Rantaro.
